The northbound slip lane at State Highway 2 and Domain Road intersection will be closed this week.
The lane will close from today until Friday, September 20 between 9am and 7pm to allow for heavy construction vehicles to cross.

The Te Puke to Tauranga bound slip lane will be closed. All traffic will be diverted via the Domain Road roundabout.

- Cook Street New Footpath Construction: Works are underway to construct a new footpath link in Cook Street between Clarke Street and Faulkner Street.
- Reseal Work: The summer reseal programme is now underway and maintenance work will be carried out on a number of streets. Disruption to traffic should be minimal; however please take extra care when passing through a reseal site.
- Pilot Bay: Stormwater improvement work and installation of new pedestrian crossings is continuing along The Mall. There will be varying amounts of disruption and diversions over the next couple of months.
- State Highway 2 Bethlehem: The safety improvement project on State Highway 2 between Bethlehem and Waihi Road is continuing. Lane closures and temporary road layouts may be in place. Please take care when travelling in this area.
- State Highway 2 Tauranga Eastern Link: All State Highway 2 traffic is now using the new section of road at Te Maunga while construction of the new southbound lanes takes place. Please watch for new lane layouts and allow extra time for your journey.
