Today is the last day to submit on Tauranga City Council's draft annual plan outlining council's budget and spending for the next year.
Submissions, invited from any individual, organisation or group, on the draft annual plan close at 5pm and can be made online here.
The annual plan proposes cutting the city's spending by $27 million and debt by $14 million.
The plan includes a proposed rates rise of 6.7 per cent for the 2014/15 year, comprised of a general rates increase of two percent, plus a 4.7 per cent storm water levy to address legacy concerns.
The flood levy is intended to raise $5 million from rates to pay for stormwater work neglected by previous councils.
Full copies of the draft 2014/15 Annual Plan (incorporating draft amendments to the 2012-22 Long-term Plan), as well as submission forms can also be found at Tauranga, Greerton, Mount Maunganui and Papamoa libraries.
