New designs for underfoot

New designs are set to grace the Thames Underfoot Gallery at the Victoria Park Bollards end of the Coastal Walkway.

Thames Community Board approved new designs from local artist Jan Morrison, whose work has been much admired and the most commented on of all the current designs in the Underfoot Gallery.

Jan is a public artist whose work is featured in Auckland, Queenstown, Tauranga and Thames.

All Underfoot Gallery artwork is vetted by the Thames Society of Art before being presented to the Thames Community Board for its approval.

The work of painting the designs onto the path will start in the next few weeks and falls within the boundaries of the original concession granted by the Board.

The Underfoot Gallery is a series of artworks painted on the Coastal Walkway between the Victoria Street Bollards and the Brown Street Footbridge in Thames.
