On 4 July 2014, peacefully at Tauranga Hospital, aged 91.

Loved husband and companion of 68 years to Dorothy; adored father and father-in-law of Jennifer (Jenny) and Graeme Treloar (Golden Bay), Carol Johnston (Wellington) and Linda Hand and Earl Mardle (Bombay, Auckland); loved Grandad and Grandad-in-law of Adele Treloar and Brendan Allen (Queenstown), and Neal Treloar and Meaghan Simpson (Auckland); loved Great-Grandad of Finley and Siri Allen. Our greatly loved gentleman husband and father will be hugely missed by all his extended family. With many thanks to the staff at Tauranga Hospital and Somervale Rest Home hospital.

A service celebrating Neil's life will be held at Mount Harbour Chapel, 416 Maunganui Rd, Mt Maunganui on Tuesday 8th July at 1pm, thereafter private cremation.
