Died suddenly at Tauranga Hospital on July 8 surrounded by family.

Much loved husband of the late Sally. Loved father and father-in-law of Stephen and Leanne, Greg and Sue, Peter (deceased) and Terese and Philip and Suzanne and all his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A service for Richard will be held at Tauranga Park, 383 Pyes Pa Rd Tauranga, on Saturday 12th July at 3.00pm, followed by private cremation. Communication to the Richard Root Family, c/o P.O. Box 3136 Greerton, Tauranga 3142.
