On 18 July 2014, suddenly but peacefully, aged 82 years.

Loving husband of Ruth, dearly loved father and father-in-law of Christine and Lindsay Wratt (Masterton), Colin and Helen (New Plymouth), Lorraine (Blenheim), Paul and Reiko (Wellington), loved grandad to Andrew and Narelle, Christopher, Olivia, Iori and Youji, loved GG to Annabelle and Peyton. Loved brother of Kelvyn and Margaret and uncle of Paula and Brent.
