It's full steam ahead for the Thames-Coromandel District Council which is resuming hearings on the Proposed District Plan today.
Hearings run through until Thursday, February 12, and the topics to be heard by the District Plan Hearings Panel include: Biodiversity, Subdivision, and Earthworks.

In line with a direction by the panel, several submitters have provided written statements of evidence prior to the hearing, which can be viewed here.
There will be three topics up for discussion during the next lot of hearings which will take place from Tuesday, February 24 to Thursday, February 26.
Those topics include: Structure Plans/Site Development Plans, Tangata Whenua provisions, and the Historic Heritage Schedule.
Hearings on February 24 and 25 will be held in the Wintec building on the corner of Queen and Mary streets in Thames, from 9am.
While the hearing on February 26 will be held at the Coromandel Town Community Board Room, from 10am.
Hearings Panel chairman Mark Farnsworth is reminding all submitters to pre-circulate expert evidence before all Proposed District Plan hearings this year.
To assist in this, Hearing Reports will be available on the TCDC website ten working days before the hearing.
Expert evidence must be provided to the District Plan Co-ordinator five working days beforehand.
Hearings on the Proposed District Plan are being held today at Council Chambers, 515 Mackay Street, Thames, from 9am.
