All public submission on the resource consent application to subdivide Te Pungapunga Station in Wainuitoto – New Chum must be completed by 4pm today.
The application made by Ross and Deidre Mear is for a four lot subdivision, all approximately 15 hectares in size, together with a fifth beach conservation lot, of 1.2 hectares.

All submissions must be made in writing and need to include reasons for the submission, plus the decision and/or conditions sought from the consent authority.
They also need to include whether or not the person making the submission wishes to be heard in respect of the submission.
Information about the application and how to make a submission can be viewed on the Thames-Coromandel District Council's website.
Alternatively, it can also be viewed at council offices throughout the district, as well as the Mercury Bay Library and Whangapoua Store.
Copies of all submission must also be sent to the applicant at the following address:
