Thames' War Memorial Civic Centre is taking no further bookings for its conference room while alterations to the building take place.
The alterations are to create two leasable office spaces and there are plans for the Thames i-SITE plus Destination Coromandel to move into those offices but it's not signed and sealed yet.

The Thames-Coromandel District Council says it will inform locals when bookings can be taken again, which is expected to be around the end of June or possibly sooner.
'As part of the move, InterCity buses would also stop at the Civic Centre, putting a lot more foot traffic into the main retail stretch of Pollen St and Goldfields Shopping Centre.
'Destination Coromandel, the regional tourism operator, works out of Goldfields and the i-SITE is on the southern end of Pollen Street, where buses currently stop.”
Separately, fast broadband is to be installed in the Civic Centre as council-owned facility currently has no broadband access.
