The Thames-Coromandel District Council is advising locals household kerbside collections next week will take place a day later.

This is due to Anzac Day falling on a Saturday, while the following Monday is a public holiday, meaning kerbside rubbish and recycling collections are a day later than usual across the Coromandel. Check the collection schedule.

Transfer stations will be open on Saturday (Anzac Day) at 1pm and close at their normal times.

On Monday, April 27, all transfer stations will be open from 11:30am to 7:30pm, except Thames which will close at 5pm.

Should you wish to use the transfer stations please ensure all your rubbish is inside official blue bags for them to be accepted free of charge by stations.
