BET MAYOR CROSBY DIDN'T SPELL THIS OUT

After 6 1/2 months I would hope so but after the last effort you wouldn't hold your breath this bunch got it right- they say disasters always come in threes.Apparently he is from another "local' authority or department so hopefully he has been round the traps and is a bit streetwise. You have to feel a pang of pity for the poor innocent because he probably has a max of around 3months to clean up years of financial mayhem and put the train on the rails or he will find a Local Government Commissioner coming down the tracks head on to fix the mess.Perhaps the first choice candidate had a bit more savvy in refusing as it is understood he is chasing the Bay Regional Council CEO job.

MATES OF WBOPDC CEO

The one accepted who rejuected .... is a mate of the ceo heading off southward from WBOPDC, so the easy road to hope there to fill the shoes, no stress, no public fanatic attention 24/7

Salary

Posted on 11-04-2011 20:02 | By Jitter

Far too high as a starting salary for a city the size of Tauranga. We can only hope that he does what the council asks and not the other way round like the previous CEO. Lets also hope that everything he does is open and above board. Lets also hope that he cuts/reduces council runaway expenditure. If not what has been suggested above will be demanded - the appointment of an independant Commissioner.

Spot the difference between Stephen and Peterson, like folks you have another 8 years of the same to look forward to, enjoy.

Just what is the salary. If it is anything like Town then it is certainly far too high. We want people who are prepared to work for the City, not for greed.

New TCC CEO

Isn't it little wonder that Tauranga is referrd to as "Ten $$ Tauranga' With all the ill-informed comments on this site you can see why. Some commentators can't even produce facts.

A BLONDE MOMENT ?

Tia > Exactly what has the appointment of a new CEO for TCC got to do with "$10 per hour Tauranga".His salary will equate to $200 per hour. What facts are you looking for from the commentators? Are you sure you have posted on the correct blog site?

$10 TAURANGA WHERE ?

The $200 per hour would be a blessing if that was all it cost but the constant stream of blunders to date that are costing millions a year and every year make the salary pale into insignificance!
