Free bus travel has been provided throughout Tauranga during the duration of the Anchor AIMS Games this week.

By downloading the Anchor AIMS Games app, athletes, referees and coaches can get on a Bay Hopper bus anywhere in the city and not have to pay.

Supporters and family members can also access the free Park and Ride service that goes between Gordon Spratt Reserve in Papamoa, which is the football venue for the games, and the Mount Maunganui Hot Pools. This leaves every 30mins, taking in Papamoa Plaza, ASB Baypark Arena, Baywave and Blake Park.

The free bus service has been proudly supported by Tauranga City Council, Bay of Plenty Regional Council, TECT, Anchor NZ and Trustpower.
