It is being hailed as just the tonic the Coromandel and Hauraki regions need and event organisers are making sure that everyone gets a slice of the action.
Organisers of this months Beach Hop, as previously announced, are having the event touch every community from Waihi and Paeroa in the south, to Coromandel Town and Whitianga in the north – and all points in between.
Beach Hop's Noddy Watts has shared the excitement and the acceptance by wider communities which all now get the chance to join into the fun of the festival, reports Coromandel 's CFM.
The Repco Power Cruise happens on Thursday, March 23, with cars leaving Whangamata and driving clockwise or anti-clockwise around SH 25 and SH2. The change was forced due to SH25A being closed.
And just to ensure the drivers have to shop along the way, the prizewinner will have to provide a shopping receipt from along the route.
