The second 2023-24 Bay of Plenty Cricket Baywide Championship concludes today, Saturday, February 17, with the Venture Developments T20 Championship finals day being fought out at Blake Park.

Top qualifier Generation Homes Lake Taupo CC will meet  Element IMF Cadets, with four time Baywide T20 titleholders Bond & Co Mount Maunganui facing defending champions Eves Realty Greerton in the second semi-final.

The team from the Great Lake region have been the surprise package of the 2023-24 T20 title race and are chasing their first BOPCA cricket title since making their Baywide debut less than a decade ago.

Lake Taupo lost just a solitary game - to Greerton - on their way to claiming the top spot in the preliminary competition.
