Emergency services are responding to an incident at Mount Maunganui.

Police were advised around 5.40pm that a paraglider has crashed on Mauao.

A SunLive reader says Mount Maunganui life guards and police are responding to the crash.

It is unknown at this stage if there are any injuries.
