July school holidays aglow with family fun

These July school holidays will be packed with things to do, with a whole range of free family events at Tauranga City Libraries, plus affordable family films and events at The Historic Village, and the Bad Jelly The Witch Glow Show set to be a holiday highlight at Baycourt.

Kids' movies
1pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at The Village Community Cinema. 

Animal Costume Workshop
Turn yourself into your favourite animal, join animals together to become a super animal or create your own unique creature. If you're going to The Village Cinema's screening of Zootopia on the same day or DJ Babz' Go Wild Family Disco on Tuesday, 16 July, then this workshop is for you!

Go Wild Family Disco Party
Families of Tauranga! Bust out your best dance moves and join DJ Lady Babz for the Go Wild Family Disco Party! Adults need to stay and have fun with the kids.

Chocolate Melting and Moulding
Ever fancied making your own chocolate creations? Melt chocolate down and then mould it, and add all sorts of treats inside.

City Circus Neon Night Markets
The school holiday City Centre Night Markets will transform the ground floor of the Elizabeth Street carpark into a radiant glow circus extravaganza! Enjoy a free glow in the dark circus performance, face painting and interactive circus with Circus in a Flash.

Bad Jelly The Witch Glow Show
The Glow Show's original mash-up of science, puppetry and music is a glorious experience for children and this year will be a wonderfully nostalgic event for adults who love this Spike Milligan story.

Pocket Sized Play at Tauranga Library
Free activities on Saturdays between 10.30am - 1.30pm, grab the tamariki to head along and join the fun!

Wicked Villains
Have fun creating your own Wicked Villain using cardboard and egg cartons. This activity is suitable for tamariki of all ages. Parents must stay and supervise their children.
