It will be a night to remember for a lucky Powerball player from Ōpōtiki after winning $12.5 million with Powerball First Division in Saturday night’s live Lotto draw.
The winning ticket was sold on MyLotto.
The prize is made up of $12 million from Powerball First Division and $500,000 from Lotto First Division.
Saturday night’s winner is fourteenth Powerball multi-millionaire this year, and the win comes just three weeks after a Christchurch couple won a staggering $20.25 million. The couple are planning to pay off their mortgage, buy a new car and ensure their passports are up to date ready for their travel adventures.
One other lucky Lotto player will also be celebrating after winning $500,000 with Lotto First Division in Saturday night’s live Lotto draw. The winning ticket was sold at Hornby Mall Lotto in Christchurch.
Meanwhile, Strike Four has rolled over on Saturday night and will be $400,000 on Wednesday night.
Anyone who bought their ticket from Hornby Mall Lotto or on MyLotto should check their ticket as soon as possible in-store, on MyLotto, or through the MyLotto App.
12 Lotto players win Second Division
Twelve lucky Lotto players will be celebrating after each winning $25,749 with Lotto Second Division in Saturday night’s live Lotto draw.
Four lucky players also won Powerball Second Division, taking their total winnings to $30,917. The winning Powerball Second Division tickets were sold at Woolworths Lynn Mall in Auckland, New World Inglewood in Inglewood and on MyLotto to players from Auckland and Dunedin.
