Sadly John passed away 29 November 2025.

Dearly loved husband of Rosemary. Much loved father and father-in-law to Chris and Melanie, Jeff and Jenana, Tamsin and Benn. Loved grandad to OJJEHIL; Oli, Jacob, Joe, Ellie, Hazel, Isla and Liam.

A service to celebrate John's Life will be held at 2pm on Thursday 4 December at the Totara Lounge, Hope Family Funerals, 2A Loop Road, Tauranga.

John's family would like to thank friends, family and the many Doctors, nurses and carers who have given them amazing support over the last year.
