Passed away peacefully on 18th January 2026 at Copper Crest Rest Home in Tauranga surrounded by his family. Born 15/3/1933 in his 93rd year. Formerly of Glen Eden, Henderson, Ruawai, Baylys Beach Coast Road, Matamata, and Tauranga. Son of the late Pop Eye (Neil) & Lillian Hemmingson and 2nd youngest of 10 siblings. Beloved husband of the late Clare (nee Hardie). Loved father and father in law of Karen and Derek Powell, Grant and Julie Hemmingson, Paul Hemmingson and MaryAnne. Special Granddad to Cameron, Sarah, Justin, Carl, Nivonne, Monique and Great Granddad to 11.
