Motorists are being warned of roadworks taking place along the overbridge at the northern end of the city's expressway this week.

Complete resurfacing is being undertaken on the north-bound lanes of the bridge at the city end of Route K toll road.

Ongoing Work

Work is continuing at the following sites; please take care when driving through these areas:

• Girven Road - alterations to Patterson Street, Hawea Street and Grenada Street intersections continues.
• Maranui Street/Sandhurst Drive - the construction of a new roundabout continues.
• Welcome Bay Road - widening and reconstruction between Ranginui Road and the city boundary (near the hot pools).
• Ultrafast Broadband - Ultrafast Broadband installation is taking across the city. Most of the work is being done off the road, however if you experience any problems associated with these work sites please call 0800 FIBRE LTD (0800 342 735).
