Suddenly at his home in Te Puke, on Tuesday 1st July 2014, aged 81 years.

Dearly loved husband of Jeanette (Jean). Cherished dad of Wendy and Steve Thomas, John and Trelesa, Gill and Mark Gibbs, Colleen, David and Miles. Much loved grandad of Ben, Kyrsten, Kerry, Jackie, Jane and Roy.

A service honouring Philips life will be held on Saturday 5th July 2.00pm, at Te Puke RSA, 16 Oxford Street Te Puke, thereafter private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John, PO Box 338 Te Puke 3153, and may be left at the service.
