A car has crashed into a ditch on the side of SH29 near Old Kaimai Rd.

Police report that a driver called Police at 7.45am to advise he had crashed into the ditch.

"He was uninjured," says a Police spokesperson.

"The car is off the road so shouldn't cause any issues in terms of blocking the road."
