Passed unexpectedly but peacefully on 15^th June 2017. Dearly loved cherished husband and life partner of Jan for 58 wonderfully joyous years. Much loved and treasured father of Michael and Lee, and special father in law to Frank and Tracey, loved and adored Poppa of Aimee and Lance, and Nicole, Jake and Olivia, Step Poppa of Mikayla and Caleb, and Grand Poppa of Zoey. You were such a major presence in all our lives and our families. You left us so suddenly that day, but knowing that you were so very loved and unconditionally cherished by us all. You will always be in our memories and remembered for your wonderful humour, your generosity and unconditional love you gave all your family. You are on your last road trip to the heavens now up into the loving embraces of your brothers. Rest easy Poppa. A celebration service will be held at Tauranga Park, 383 Pyes Pa Road, Tauranga, on Tuesday June 20^th at 1.00pm, followed by a private cremation.
