Aged 84. Died (Sunday 18 June 2017) peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Much loved husband and best friend of Leonie. Loved father of Mary, Jane and Ann. Grandfather of Rachel, Luke, Matthew, Alexandria, Olivia, Jord and Arlo. Great grandfather of Phoebe. Loved brother of Nola. Very much loved uncle of the extended Hickey family.

A Requiem Mass for Peter will be celebrated in the St Peter Chanel Catholic Church, King Street, Whakatane on Thursday 22nd June at 11am followed by a private cremation.
