A lucky Kiwi will be starting the new year as a millionaire. The winning ticket was bought at Pak N Save Tauriko in Tauranga.
Lotto NZ's Christmas promotion was drawn on Saturday night, with over 100 extra prizes up for grabs.
Another 100 winners will be enjoying an extra special summer after each scoring themselves $50,000. Players can check their promotion tickets to see if they’re a lucky winner on MyLotto.
A lucky Lotto player from the Waikato will be starting the year on a high after winning $1 million with Lotto First Division in Saturday night’s live Lotto draw.
The winning ticket was sold on MyLotto to a player from the Waikato.
Powerball was not struck on Saturday evening and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $6 million.
Strike Four has also rolled over on Saturday night and will be $400,000 on Wednesday night.
